Like many circus performers, the brothers grew up in the business.
Originally from Budapest, their parents were acrobats who
performed a "pirate" routine (Trio Cortez) in circuses and revues
throughout Europe. By the time Ferenc was two years old, his
parents had taught him to do somersault on a trampoline. Later the
boys went into gymnastics for six years, and then attended the
venerable State Artistic Institute of Hungary.THE RIPPEL
BROTHERS began competing at the age of four in sport-
gymnastics, a popular form of acrobatics. From 1982 to 1990, they
attended the renowned Hungarian Artist School, Hungarian State
Performing Arts Institute. After they graduate in the High School in
1990, they began developing a hand balancing routine in Russia,
what eventually made them perform around the world.
